Project narrative

On November 23, 2018, the Chinese Embassy in Barbados held the 2018 "Chinese Ambassador Scholarship" award ceremony. About 50 attendees were present. Five students studying the Chinese language at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus won the award, which is intended to recognize top Chinese language learners at the university, further the study of the Chinese language, and deepen the educational cooperation between China and Barbados. The first of these scholarships was granted to students on October 21, 2016 (see Record ID#71825). The 2017 award is captured by Record ID#72094.
