Project narrative

On August 22, 2018, the Chinese Ambassador to Barbados and the Barbadian Minister of Agriculture and Food Security met at the Barbadian Ministry headquarters at Graeme Hall, Christ Church and discussed a new visit to China for a delegation from the Barbadian agricultural sector. The Barbadian Permanent Secretary of the Ministry was also present. According to the Barbadian Government Information Service, the delegation would be provided training on modern agricultural techniques and technologies. Details on the implementation and cost of this program are unknown. As of October 2021, there are no evidence such delegation has taken place.
