Project narrative

On June 26, 2020, the Chinese government provided anti-epidemic materials to the Ministry of Health in Togo. These materials will be used for COVID-19 response and prevention efforts in Togo. The specific material type, amount and monetary value of this donation is unknown. However, the producer of the materials appears to be Yantai Show Long Medical Technology Co., Ltd, a company owned by Shandong Shulang Garment, that produces gloves, masks, and full-body PPE. A handover ceremony was held for this donation. Chao Weidong, the Chinese Ambassador to Togo, and the Minister of Health and Public Health of Togo attended the ceremony and signed the handover certificate.
