Chinese Government provides funding for Lomé Regional Hospital Center Sewage Treatment System Project

On August 5, 2015 and August 13, 2015, the Chinese Government and the Government of Togo signed an exchange of notes for the Lomé Regional Hospital Center Sewage Treatment System Project. China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) is the source of funding. It almost certainly provided a grant or interest-free loan for this project, but the monetary value and nature of its financial commitment is unknown. This project involved the installation of a sewage treatment system at the Centre Hospitalier Régional de Lomé commune (CHR), which is located in the capital city of Lomé. China Railway First Group Co., Ltd. was the contractor responsible for implementation. This project was ultimately completed but its precise implementation start and end dates are unknown.
