Project narrative

On March 18th, 2019, the hand over ceremony of a newly renovated table-tennis hall took place in Malé (see Record ID#72521 for further details). Alongside the ceremony, the Chinese embassy, on behalf of the Chinese Table Tennis association, donated table-tennis equipment to the Maldives Table Tennis association. The quantity and type of materials donated is unknown. According to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the materials were donated to support the training of young Maldivian athletes.
