Description
In 2014, China committed to a grant of US$100,000 to Uzbekistan for the purchase of new stage equipment for the purchase and supply of modern special stage equipment to the Republican Center for Children's Artistic Creativity in Nukus. The acquisition was part of a push by Uzbekistan to attract grant aid for its education system. It was reported that Uzbekistan attracted $225.6 million of grant aid for this purpose, some of which was provided by the People's Republic of China.
