Project narrative

On October 25, 2018, the Chinese government donated $1.5 million to the government of South Sudan to help prevent the spread of the Ebola virus, which at the time was ravaging the neighboring Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Chinese donation would be used to purchase ambulances and other emergency response tools to help strengthen the country's vigilance against the deadly virus.
