Project narrative

On May 24, 2018, Long Dingbin, China's Consul General in Lahore, visited the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute (PKLI) and Research Centre and donated $50,000 to the hospital as a gesture of goodwill by the People's Republic of China. Both sides discussed matters of mutual interest and explored avenues of cooperation. During this meeting Long Dingbin also announced that the Consulate would provide scholarships to help PKLI in staff training, including training for nurses and paramedics.
