On January 10, 2019, the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan donated four x-ray scanners worth RMB 1 million to the Pakistani Federal Board of Revenue (Customs). The purpose of this donation is to help customs authorities in Pakistani airports identify smuggling, especially currency.
