Project narrative

On April 20, 2015, China government signed a Letter of Exchange with Pakistan government for the feasibility study of Digital Terrestrial Multimedia Broadcasting (DTMB) project. Under the agreement, the Chinese government provided an RMB 700,000 grant for the feasibility study. The DTMB project involves a revamped Pakistani communications network including cross border fiber-optic cable and adoption of Chinese digital communications standards. The feasibility study was successful, and the project will be implemented by ZTE and funded by China Ministry of Commerce (recorded in Record ID#53726).
