Project narrative

On April 20, 2015, China government signed an agreement with Pakistan government to provide missing an RMB 800 million grant commitment for internally displaced persons (IDPs) and temporarily displaced persons (TDPs) and social sector projects in the Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA). This region had been the site of clashes between the Pakistani Military and the Taliban, and over 1.5 million people were displaced. It was followed by an additional US$10 million donation (Record ID#52649).
