Project narrative

The 7th Chinese medical team included members from Guangdong Province who were stationed at Lekma Hospital (or Teshie General Hospital or China-Ghana Friendship Hospital), located to the west of Teshie City. They completed their term of service between December 13, 2017 and December 10, 2018.

In 2009, the Chinese Government provided a $7.28 million grant for the construction of Lekma Hospital (see Record ID#2102).
