Full Description

Project narrative

In November 2015, the governments of China and Bolivia signed Letters of Exchange for the first phase of a Sports Technical Cooperation Project. This project, which aimed to support Bolivia's work hosting the 2018 South American Games in Cochabamba, included grants of sports equipment to Bolivia's Ministry of Sports. On November 18, 2016, the handover certificate signing ceremony took place for the equipment acquired through the Sports Technology Cooperation project. Supreme Decree No. 3002 on November 30, 2016, confirms the donation of a shipment of sports equipment from the Chinese government and waives its import taxes. The value of the grant is unclear. In the second phase of the project, a second grant of sports equipment was provided, described in Record ID#54614. Other projects in the first phase are described in #72596 and #72768
