Project narrative

On September 11, 2013, the Chinese Government donated 34 motorcyles to Madagascar’s Independent National Electoral Commission (CENIT) in order to support its election monitoring activities. These motorcycles were earmarked for use during the presidential and legislative elections of 2013. The Chinese Government also dispatched election observers to polling stations in Antananarivo and Moramanga (captured in Record ID#30990).
