Project narrative

In 2007, the Chinese Government provided a grant to the Government of Madagascar for the provision of sporting materials and the rehabilitation of a stadium track in preparation for 2007 Indian Ocean Island Games. This project was officially completed and handed over to the Malagasy authorities on August 8, 2007. Madagascar hosted the 2007 Indian Ocean Island Games in Antananarivo in August 2007.
