Project narrative

In 2005, the “Chinese Government provided a grant to the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo for the Presidential Palace Local Area Network (LAN) Project. The monetary value of this grant is unknown. The purpose of the project was to establish a Local Area Network (LAN) with the Presidential Palace. A groundbreaking ceremony for this project was held on June 27, 2005. Then, on July 12, 2006, the project was officially completed and handed over to the Congolese authorities.
