Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

In 2018 and 2019, a group of trainees from Barbados visited China under China Aid Traning Program for training course on economic development, cultural protection, new energy technologies, environmental governance and tropical island economies. Exactly how many people attended this specific training is unclear, but over the six training courses offered through the "China Aid Human Resource" program from 2018 to 2019, over 120 officials and technicians participated. (Other 2018/19 training courses can be found at #72182.) China Aid Training Program provided aided training of human resources, including short-term training programs and degree programs, covering various fields of economy, management, finance, IT, agriculture, medicine, education, etc. On January 10, 2020, the Chinese Embassy in Barbados hosted a reception to recognize participants of the program. Over 130 attendees were present at the event. See "2019 China Aid Human Resource Training Schedule" for multilateral courses that could potentially be that referred to in this project.
