Project narrative

On April 26, 2020, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs donated a batch of various medical equipment to the Peruvian Ministry of Health to assist during the coronavirus pandemic. The donation included over 10,000 tests, 10,000 masks, 2,000 pairs of medical glasses, 2,000 pairs of medical gloves, and 500 thermometers. The Chinese embassy in Peru and Peruvian Agency for International Cooperation (APCI), along with the donor and recipient agencies, assisted with the transportation of these materials. Within the Peruvian Ministry of Health, the test kits were handed to the Peruvian National Institute of Health (INS).
