Project narrative

In 2017, the Chinese Embassy in Montenegro provided a grant to facilitate repairs to a road in Nikšić Freedom Square (Trg Slobode or Трг Слободе), which is located in the city of Nikšić. Numerous cafés, restaurants, stores, and banks are located in Nikšić Freedom Square. It also serves as one of the main concert venues in the city. The completion ceremony for this project was held on June 22, 2017. The monetary value of the grant that supported this project is unknown.

The Chinese project title is 加尼克希奇市自由广场便道及行车道. English translation of Chinese sources suggests that this project may have supported an ‘access road,’ ‘driveway,’ ‘freeway,’ ‘footpath,’ or ‘carriageway’.
