Project narrative

Over the period from 2012 to 2013, a senior economist at Barbados' Productivity Council participated in a training program provided by the Chinese government called the "Human Resources Development and Cooperation for Superintendent Officials from Latin American, Caribbean and South Pacific Regions." The Chinese Embassy in Barbados helped facilitate the program. According to the Organization of American States (OAS), three Barbadian participants took part in the program. China contributed USD $28,800 for the cost of training.
