Description

On March 19, 2017, representatives from the University of the West Indies' (UWI) Cave Hill Campus and China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The two universities pledged to create a joint China-Caribbean Legal Research Center. The center is intended to educate students at each university about law in the other's jurisdiction and to promote increased cooperation between China and countries in the Caribbean. Discussions about the center began in March 2016.
