On July 22, 2010, the Chinese Government and the Government of Equatorial Guinea signed a partial debt exemption protocol agreement (“Protocolo sobre la condonacion parcial de las deudas del Gobierno Chino al Gobierno de Guinea Ecuatorial”). The value of the debts that were forgiven is unknown.
