Full Description

Project narrative

In 1999 and 2000, Chinese government provided an RMB 10 million free assistance to the Turkmenistan Ministry of Textile Industry for the comprehensively transformation of the sericulture farms in Turkmenistan. Jiangsu International Economic and Technical Cooperation Corporation (also known as China Jiangsu International) provided sericulture equipment and materials. After the transformation, the annual output of the silkworm breeding farm in Turkmenistan reached 150,000 boxes annually.
