Project narrative

On November 15, 2011, the Chinese Ambassador to Burundi, on behalf of the Chinese government, donated US$100,000 to the Executive Secretariat of the International Conference on the African Great Lakes Region headquartered in Bujumbura to support the organization in maintaining peace in the Great Lakes region and promoting the development of the Great Lakes region.
