In 2006, CNPC AktobeMunaiGas (CNPC AMG), a Kazakhstan-based subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation, provided ₸159 million KZT to repair the road from the Aktobe International Airport to the city of Aktobe. The road was successfully repaired.
