Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

Since 2002, CNPC AktobeMunaiGas (CNPC AMG), a Kazakhstan-based subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation, has purchased ambulances for medical institutions and hospitals in the Aktobe Region. By 2004, CNPC AMG had donated 24 ambulances. By 2008, the company had donated 57 ambulances. By 2007, the company had donated 45 ambulances. The ambulances were Russian-made. The value of the ambulances is unknown.

Staff comments

It is unclear when CNPC AMG agreed to donate ambulances; AidData has chosen 2002 because it is the earliest known year for the implementation of this project and estimated the commitment year in respect to this. Project_status field was coded as Completion because the ambulances were clearly handed over.
