Full Description

Project narrative

On December 27, 2012, and April 7, 2013, respectively, the Chinese Ambassador to Peru and the Peruvian Minister of Foreign Relations signed Letters of Exchange, pledging that the Chinese government would grant mobile container inspection equipment (series MT1213LT) worth 21 million RMB to the Government of Peru, as well as send a team of technical experts from China to Peru in order to facilitate the installation and testing of said equipment. The dates over which the technical team stayed in Peru are unknown. The funds would be drawn from the grants provided in two Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreements (ETCA), signed November 23, 2009 (see Record ID#73188) and May 24, 2011 (see Record ID#73058).
