Description

On April 17, 2005, the Karthala Volcano on the island of Grand Comore in Comoros began erupting, forcing thousands to flee. According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) Financial Tracking Service (flow ID #27781), on 29 April 2005, the Chinese government responded by donating 6,000 EUR in cash to the Government of Comoros for disaster relief. This donation is marked as fully paid.
