Description
On September 25, 2017, the Government of China granted the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) USD$801,308 for an inter-agency Iraq 2017 response plan. The response and appeal plan is a part of the UN's humanitarian program cycle (HPC) used by humanitarian country teams to plan and coordinate humanitarian response operations. The 2017 plan requested USD$984.6m for the implementation of its plan, but only USD$47.7m was raised by member states. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) reported that China's contribution was paid. This project is captured by UNOCHA flow #165012. This project is linked to project ID #73698, which captures additional aid China provided the UNHCR on the same date for the same purpose. However, the UNOCHA captures these projects as separate flows.
