Project narrative

On January 1, 2014 the Government of China granted the Government of Syria USD$3,300,000 to provide emergency humanitarian aid to Syria. The aid included blankets and quilts for internally displaced Syrians facing the winter weather. The first batch of these materials arrived at Damascus International Airport on January 17, 2014, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA).
