Project narrative

On June 29, 2016 the Government of China granted the World Food Programme USD$4,500,000 to provide emergency food assistance to those affected by the conflict in Yemen. This assistance represents a part of the 2016 Yemen Humanitarian Assistance Response Plan, which requested USD$1.63bn from member states but raised USD$1.03m. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) reported that China's contribution has been paid. This project is captured by UNOCHA flow #146909.
