Project narrative

On July 16, 2012, the Chinese Government donated 22 1MW electricity generators to Electricité De Guinée (EDG), the country’s state-owned power utility. The generators were earmarked for use in the following towns and cities: Boffa, Gaoual, Koundara, Mali Yimbèrèn, Koubia, Lélouma, Tougué, Kouroussa, Kérouané, Mandiana, Beyla, Yomou, Lola, Macenta, Guékédou, Kissidougou, Banankoro, Sinko, Guéké, Kignéran.
