Description

On April 28, 2006, Chinese President Hu Jintao and Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki signed a joint communique opposing Taiwanese independence as well as 8 different agreements and exchange of letters. One of these agreements stipulated that China grant 500,000 RMB (440 million Ksh) to the Kenya Ministry of Health for purchasing anti-malaria drugs. The medicines were delivered and handed over to the Kenya side on August 8, 2007.
