Project narrative

On November 16, 2011, the Chinese Government and the Government of Ethiopia signed an RMB 40 million ($6.35 million or ETB 108,400,000) grant agreement for the provision of 90 state guest vehicles. A vehicle handover ceremony took place on February 17, 2012 on the premises of the Ethiopian Ministry of Finance and Economic Development (MoFED) in Addis Ababa where Ahmed Shide, State Minister of MoFED, and Xie Xiaoyan, Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia, signed the handover agreement.
