Description

In September 2015, the Chinese Government and the Government of Moldova signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA), which committed RMB 60 million of grant funding for a Integrated Government Telecommunication System Construction Project. The purpose of this project is to integrate all of the information systems of public administration authorities in Moldova. In 2016, discussion were underway regarding the implementation of this project. However, it is unclear if the project ever entered implementation.

The Romanian project title is Crearea unui Sistem de telecomunicații integru republican or Proiectului ‘Crearea reţelei naţionale de transfer de date prin fibră optică’.
