The project involves the construction of two primary schools: one near PK 11 in Melen district on the outskirts of Libreville and another in the town of Mouila. The construction of the school in the Melen district included 9 classrooms, 1 meeting room, 3 administrative offices, 2 sanitary blocks for teachers and students, 1 sports platform and a water tower supplied from a borehole. CCCC First Highway Engineering Group Co. ltd and China Geo-Engineering Corporation International Ltd. (CGCINT) were the contractors responsible for implementation. Construction started in December 2013 and ended on May 4, 2015. The project was officially completed and handed over to the local authorities on July 24, 2015.
