Project narrative

In 2001, the People's Liberation Army (PLA) of China and the Papua New Guinea (PNG) Defence Force signed an RMB 5 million ($600,000) grant agreement for the provision of medical equipment and building materials to Taurama military hospital. The medical equipment and building materials arrived in Port Moresby in April 2002. A formal handover ceremony took place on November 25, 2002
