Project narrative

On March 8, 2017, the Chinese Government donated medical supplies and equipment worth approximately $22 million GYD to Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC). The supplies were presented by members of the twelfth volunteer Chinese medical team to Guyana (see Record ID#71207). The donated equipment included an ultrasound machine, a microscope, vital signs monitors, and related supporting equipment. The donated equipment and instruments were planned to be used for anesthesia, gynecology, obstetrics, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and pathology.
