According to the Treasury of the Mauritius government, on October 11, 2018, China donated Rs 70,000 to the Mauritius Ministry of Public Infrastructure & Land Transport, also known as the Ministry of National Infrastructure and Community Development. This donation was made to support the Manufacturing and Processing of Building Materials for Developing Countries. According to the Treasury document, two projects were financed with this donation.
