Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On April 20, 2018, the Chinese Embassy in Zimbabwe donated office equipment to the Southern Africa Research and Documentation Center (SARDC), a famous think tank in Zimbabwe. Huang Ping, the Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe, attended the donation ceremony. Professor Johnson, the chief consultant of the SARDC, and all of the researchers from the center attended the event. The donated equipment included items such as new Hewlett-Packard desktops. Professor Johnson said that the office materials donated by the embassy will greatly improve the center's office hardware level and work efficiency. The monetary value of the donation is unknown. The SARDC is an independent regional knowledge resource center established in 1985 to strengthen regional policy perspectives and track the implementation of development projects in South Africa. SARDC is composed of topical institutes that focus on relevant regional processes and has a long track record of achievements in partnership with the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
