Project narrative

On June 19, 2008, the Chinese Government and the Government of Mongolia signed an exchange of letters, in which the Chinese Government allowed the Government of Mongolia to defer repayment on a loan that it previously contracted with an unspecified Chinese Government lender. The loan’s signature, face value, borrowing terms and purpose are unknown.
