Project narrative

On November 26, 2019, President Barrow visited members of the Chinese medical team at the Bansang Hospital in the Zhonghe District. He also witnessed the donation of medicine and equipment to this hospital by the Chinese Embassy in Gambia. During the President Barrow's visit, the medical team treated more than 400 local patients and donated 1 million dalasis worth of medicines and medical equipment to the Bansang Hospital. The day before China donated 700,000 dalasis worth of medical items and equipment to the Basse Health Center, this is captured in Record ID#86791.

They were sent to Edward Small Hospital but they were doing rounds of clinics across the country (巡诊), so this is why they were in this hospital.
