Project narrative

On September 12, 2019, a handover ceremony was held in Bambari, the capital of the Vaka Province, to mark the donation of over 400 bags totalling 20 tons of food. The aid was provided by the Chinese government and is meant to help refugees in Bambari who were affected by the local war. The ceremony was attended by President Faustin-Archange Touadéra of the Central African Republic and Chen Dong, the Chineseambassador to the Central African Republic. The monetary value of the aid is unknown.
