Project narrative

In October 2019, President Bo Jiang took two teachers from the Nusrat High School in Gambia to the Chinese Embassy and they jointly decided to establish a "Chinese Cultural Corner" in the Nusrat Library. The Cultural Corner project was completed at the end of the last semester, equipped with brand new furniture, computers, a large-screen color TV, and a small solar power system that provides power in all weather situations. A batch of books and video materials about China are displayed on the bookshelf in the Cultural Corner for everyone to read. On January 17, 2020, the "Chinese Culture Corner" was officially unveiled. In addition to the furnishings and equipment within the Cultural Center, the Chinese Embassy also donated school supplies to the school.
