Project narrative

On August 24, 2019, the Chinese Embassy in Niger and China Gezhouba Group Company Ltd. (CGGC) donated a batch of municipal sanitation equipment to the Government of the Tillabéri Department. The donation was intended to improve public health and garbage transportation and disposal in the Tillabéri Department, in line with the "Tillabéri City Year 2019" organized by the Government of Niger. The Chinese Embassy also donated cleaning supplies such as rakes, brooms, and carts to the National Day Celebration Preparation Commission (Chinese: 国庆活动筹办委员会) in Tillabéri. The monetary value of this donation is unknown.
