Project narrative

In October 2019, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce sponsored a three-week Regional Aviation Management Training Program in Beijing for 20 Ghanaian delegates. AVIC International Aero-Development Corporation conducted the training. The 20 trainees represented Ghana's Ministry of Aviation, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Tourism and Creative Arts, Civil Aviation Authority, Ghana Airports Company Limited, and the New Times Corporation. According to the Ghanaian Times, the training course included information on Chinese aviation achievements since reform and opening up, Chinese air transport management, Chinese aviation industry development, air safety management, air traffic control systems in China, advanced technologies of airport management, and Chinese and world civil aviation regulations.
