China provides the "Chinese Ambassador Scholarship" worth of 19,435,500 CFA franc to 100 female students in Chad in 2018

On August 24th, 2018, Chinese Ambassador Li Jinjin granted the "Chinese Ambassador Scholarship" to 100 female students from 4 high schools in Chad. The scholarship was awarded to students within the Fondation Grand Coeur (“大爱”基金会), a local NGO that helped with the distribution of the scholarship. The goal of the scholarship was to provide financial aid to students from families that were struggling with financial difficulties. The scholarship was provided and established by the Chinese Embassy in Chad. The amount of these scholarships is distributed as follows: 4,975,500 CFA francs for girls in Sheikh Hamdan High School, 5,575,000 for those at the Evangelical College (CE) High School, 4,423,000 for the Ibnou Mahadjir High School and 4,462,000 for those of the Sacred Heart High School. The total of scholarships is 19,435,500 CFA francs.
