Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

In June 2018, 29 Sierra Leonean employees of China Railway Seventh Group (CRSG, 中铁七局集团有限公司) undertook a Chinese government-sponsored 28-day training course in Highway Construction and Operation Management at the Henan University of Technology (HAUT, 河南科技大学) in China. The course included lectures on Chinese history and culture and technical skills related to expressway construction, operation and management. The program was jointly organized by the West African Operations and Management Company (WAOMC) and the China Railway Seventh Group, and was sponsored by China's Ministry of Commerce. The courses lasted thirty days, and consisted of 22 special lectures. On June 26, 2018, the students' completion of the program was commemorated with a graduation ceremony.
