Project narrative

In mid-May 2019, the West African Operations and Management Company (WAOMC) and the China Railway Seventh Group (CRSG, 中铁七局集团有限公司) donated food to the Hastings, Rogbamgba, and Yams Farm communities in Sierra Leone. A donation ceremony was held at the Sunday Foundation Secondary School in Freetown. The event was attended by Sierra Leone Councilor for Ward 391, Edward Kargbo, Member of Parliament for Constituency 111, John Sati Kargbo, Deputy General Manager of WAOMC, Kan Yadong, and local community leader, Umar Bah. The exact handover date of the donation is unknown.
