Project narrative

On December 16, 2019, the Chinese Government signed an agreement with the transitional government of Sudan for the donation of security and safety equipment to the Sudan customs. The deal was signed between the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning of Sudan and the Chinese Government. China also offered personnel training and technical services, to help Sudan crack down upon smuggling, enhance the capacity of customs clearance for both personnel and goods, and safeguard national security. The monetary value of the donation is unknown.
